Heritage/Restoration/Atypical

In 2020 we were tasked with helping restore the Todd Creek Trestle amid covid and the lockdowns that ensued. We teamed up with Seismic 2000 to restore and rehabilitate the 100+ year old bridge in Sooke, British Columbia. We were involved in the timber fabrication and installation for the project. It was an experience we’ll never forget.

The end of 2020 we helped Heritage Masonry restore the Morden Mine and Colliery in Nanaimo, British Columbia. This is the second last tipple of its kind in North America and we are very proud and fortunate to be apart of the work on it. The work included lots of structural shoring and concrete replacement.

In the summer of 2022 we teamed up again with Heritage Masonry to work on the restoration of the Old Alexandra Bridge in Hope, British Columbia. We are involved with the forming and pouring of architectural concrete and removal of the old concrete. It is a fairly technical restoration with the Fraser River running swiftly below while making sure our formwork is secure. Work will be continuing in the late spring/summer of 2024.
